Fruit of the Spirit

Divine Health

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

In Galatians 5:22 &23 it is talking about the fruit of our reborn spirit which is filled with God’s nature. Before we were born again our heart (spirit) was filled with corruption, but after we were born again the fruit of the spirit was part of the regenerated spirit (heart)

All of the fruit of the spirit is in us, but some are not developed fully and we are not walking in them. You might ask; how do I walk in them all? The answer to that is to practice them. Here is an example: If you are running behind your schedule and you stop at the grocery store and get in the check out line and it seems like the line is not moving fast as you would like it. You find your patience is getting short, well start praising God and thanking Him that you have patience, even if your patience is being tested to the limit. You could go even a step further; you could let the person that is in the line behind you with just one item go ahead of you. Wow!!! You will find that as you practice patience it gets easier.

Now that you have all the definitions here of the fruit of the spirit, how does your basket look? Is it full and running over, or is some of your fruit still a little green?

I really believe that when we love the Father with all of our heart, soul, body and mind and love one another as He loves us, all nine fruits will overflow in our lives. Remember Love never fails.

Always examine the fruit you have in your basket. If you see a spot on any of the fruit make sure you wash it (with the word) which will remove the spot and keep it  fresh and full of vitamins.

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you which one or ones you need to work on and receive the grace to do it. You can do all things through Christ, which strengthens you.

Eph 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

(2 Cor 6:6 KJV)  By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,

(Gal 5:22 KJV)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

More Revelation On The Fruit Of Love – A Challenge To Grow

Romans 12:9:  “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.”

The Father wants to reveal more about the love we are to display in our life.  He wants to pour Agape love through us.  He wants us to spend time with Him to learn more about His way of love.  Agape love is profound and everlasting.  It does not give up.  Love enables you to think of other people and their needs or before you even think about your concerns, needs or circumstances.

The church world has not seen Agape love in demonstration of power by the Holy Spirit since the first century believers.  One might conclude that Agape love died out with the original Apostles.  This is a true statement because fear entered into believer’s hearts and took control of the early church.  Fear still controls the church today.  Remember what happened when Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Ghost?  See Acts chapter 5 for the details.

How does fear cancel Agape love?  Fear and faith are direct opposites.  We make many choices each day.  If we choose to believe God, then we walk in faith.  If not, we please satan and walk in fear.

When we walk in faith, Agape love can work in our lives.  Faith works by love.

Our Father already gave us the ability to love.  We have the seeds of the fruit of the Holy Spirit – Agape love deep in our re-born spirit.

Our Father is challenging us to fall deeply in love with Him so the Kingdom of God becomes alive in us and takes first place in our hearts.  When we become one with Him (cleave) our love will be without dissimulation (hypocrisy).

You must make a decision.  Do you want to walk in Agape love?  If you choose Agape love you must take these things to the Father and ask for His revelation understanding and knowledge about Agape love.

6. agape, ag-ah'-pay; from G25; love, i.e. affection or benevolence; spec. (plur.) a love-feast:--(feast of) charity ([-ably]), dear, love.

505. anupokritos, an-oo-pok'-ree-tos; from G1 (as a neg. particle) and a presumed der. of G5271; undissembled, i.e. sincere:--without dissimulation (hypocrisy), unfeigned.

655. apostugeo, ap-os-toog-eh'-o; from G575 and the base of G4767; to detest utterly:--abhor.

2853. kollao, kol-lah'-o; from  kolla ("glue"); to glue, i.e. (pass. or reflex.) to stick (fig.):--cleave, join (self), keep company.

Take this to the Lord and ask Him to reveal the truth to you about the fruit of the spirit. Let it become alive in you, and flow from you.
